Because Polychem Indonesia places such a high value on its work force, the company
is committed to the health and safety of every employee. A number of measures have been
instituted to ensure a safe working environment, to prevent accidents, and to protect
company's property.
First aid kits are always available and easily accessible for any kind of emergency.
Employees working in high-noise areas, and those handling chemical agents are all provided
with proper safety equipment. Medically trained personnel are on hand in the event of
sickness or injury.
Although the possibility of fire is present in all manufacturing facilities, Polychem Indonesia
has made great efforts to minimize the risk of fire damage. Fire extinguishers have been
placed in each work area, supported by well-trained fire fighting personnel. In addition,
employees are trained in the handling of emergency situations.
